I have bought a dress

It's back but with more style. (public)

I have bought a dress

Postby cheors on Thu Jul 16, 2009 4:16 pm

But I think I might have to take it back, it's a size 10 and it's a bit tight. I think I may need a size 12, it's the cake :(

Pretty isn't it?

Is this for the ladies thing? It is pretty, you could give it away afterwards.

Yeah, Ladie's Day. I thought I'd shock my mum by trying it on in the charity shop she volunteers in

Cost me £3 and frilly boa thing was about £2. My mate's a 32 C so I am going to wear her bra but I need to measure myself first, I think I might be slightly broader than 32" as skinny as I am! Knickers or no knickers? I think I'll wear shorts under it or jeans, can't be too feminine, I have feminine face as it is

I would've offered to take it off your hands afterwards for my wedding outfit but I'd have to have some serious surgery to get into a 32c, whic would wipe out the saving I'd make on having a 3rd hand dress

You need some CK type huggy shorts things so the dress doesn't ruck up/VPL. Or none, but that might be a bit uncomfortable in a dress - nothing to soak up the drips

Get some fishnet holdups to go with it 8)

I think I'd stand out like a sore thumb at Ascot even if I was scrubbed up and looking dandy.

Nah, I went once. There's all sorts there, it's just that the media make a fuss of just photographing the images they want.

Good point! No, didn't see many of them. Twas just that there were loads of people dressed normally in amongst the hats.
